Lacquer Craft

The “Lac”, processed from raw lac which are taken from free bark of “Kusum”. Lacquer work is carried out with terracotta, bamboo, wood and stone crafts. A lacquer coating is given on the boxes or showpieces made from other materials. The vibrant colors makes the item stand out.

Lacquer is also used to make bangles which are worn by married women.
