About us
ADISRIJAN is an attempt to provide a platform for the artisans to showcase their talent and express their imagination, beliefs as well as emotions. It specializes in Tribal Handicraft and Handloom Products and promotes different art/crafts of the artisans, especially tribal artisans across the state of Odisha.
CRAFTS
Sabai
Sabai or locally called “Bobei Dauda or Bobei Ghasa” is a natural fibre, found in the hilly tribal areas of northern Odisha
Dokra
The oldest form of metal casting, ‘Dokra’, is popular because of its primitiveness and simplicity.
Bamboo
Bamboo has been a part of our lives since ancient times and one of the oldest crafts in the State of Odisha.
Painting
Painting is as old as the tribe itself. The paintings done by the Saora and Gond tribes are the most appreciated.
Wood

Terracotta
Terracotta is one of the earliest and most basic crafts found in various centers in Odisha mostly in Sambalpur.
Lacquer Craft
Lacquer work is carried out on crafts. The vibrant colors makes the item stand out. Lacquer is also used to make bangles.
Paddy Craft
Paddy Craft is practised by the Bhottada community of Odisha. Paddy grains are knotted in bamboo shafts
Date Palm
A large number of utilitarian and decorative products can be made by drying and interweaving the Palm leaves
Stone Craft
Temples stand as a testimony for the heights that the artisans of Odisha have achieved in Stone carving
Silver Filigree
Silver Filigree artwork also known as “Tarkashi” is a centuries old craft practised in the Silver City of Cuttack, Odisha.
Pattachitra
Pattachitra is a traditional painting of Odisha, India. These paintings are based on Hindu mythology
